Dr. Sean L. Kaufman, D.P.M., F.A.C.F.A.S.

Dr. Sean Kaufman is a podiatric surgeon dually certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is on staff at St Barnabas Medical Center, Trinitas Hospital, Rahway Hospital, Bayonne Medical Center, Hoboken Medical Center and several surgery centers in the local area.

Dr. Kaufman has been in private practice since finishing his surgical training at Jamaica Hospital, NY in 2001. He feels his hands on personalized approach to patient care sets him apart.

Dr. Kaufman’s goal is to provide the highest quality of specialized care for problems of the foot and ankle. He will work with your primary care physician and other specialists to coordinate the best care for your feet. His practice philosophy is based upon providing good, honest, state-of-the-art professional care for each and every patient. Dr. Michael Rallatos, D.P.M., F.A.C.F.A.S.

Dr. Michael Rallatos graduated from Boston University, Cum Laude and entered the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. After graduating with his doctorate in Podiatric Medicine, he did a three year surgical residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey where he was the chief resident.

Dr. Rallatos is dedicated to giving his patients first-rate care and the utmost respect. His professionalism, compassion, and devotion towards his patients are what set him apart. He has worked diligently to establish a solid reputation for professionalism and care in the local community.

Dr. Rallatos is extensively trained in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery. He is also on staff at St Barnabas Medical Center, Trinitas Hospital, Rahway Hospital, Bayonne Medical Center and Hoboken Medical center and several surgical centers. Dr. Rallatos also teaches and trains residents in the area staying current with advances in podiatry.

Dr. Ashley Bittar, D.P.M., A.A.C.F.A.S.

Dr. Bittar completed a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Immunology with Honors at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada. She went on to earn a Doctorate’s Degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, achieving many scholarships for her Academic excellence, including the JT Tai Scholar. Dr. Bittar completed a comprehensive three year surgical residency in Foot & Ankle Trauma/Reconstructive surgery at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, serving as Chief Resident in her final year.

During her residency, Dr. Bittar has experienced training in a particularly diverse population, which helped her develop the skills and knowledge to treat a wide variety of foot and ankle problems, both surgically and conservatively. She has a special interest in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, diabetic foot care, sports medicine and trauma. She also participated in several advanced courses in foot and ankle arthroscopy, internal & external fixation and minimally invasive surgery techniques. Her passion for helping people has led her the opportunity to participate in a mission trip to Honduras, where she used her expertise to treat patients with severely neglected foot deformities.

Dr. Bittar is dedicated to treat her patients with exceptional care and compassion. When she is not at the office or Hospital, she enjoys visiting her family back home in Canada, cooking, and mountain biking with her husband.

Dr. Ashley Bittar is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Rachel Maslow, D.P.M.

Dr. Maslow was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and attended University at Albany, State University of New York, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Neuroscience.  During her four years there, she served as a volunteer attendant for the campus ambulance service. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine Degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. While in school, she spent time volunteering at community fairs to raise awareness and provide proper foot care guidance for patients with diabetes.

Upon graduation, she completed a three-year surgical residency in Foot & Ankle Trauma/Reconstructive Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, serving as Chief Resident in her third year.

Over the course of her residency, Dr. Maslow operated at a level one trauma center and managed inpatient and outpatient care for many patients. She developed knowledge, experience and proficiency in performing forefoot, rearfoot and ankle surgery. She developed clinical skills in podiatric trauma, limb salvage and wound care, sports medicine, pediatrics and general podiatric conditions. She also attended several advanced courses in arthroscopy and surgical fixation techniques. During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in Spring 2020, Dr. Maslow was deployed to treat COVID patients at Montefiore Medical Center alongside residents from across all different specialties.

Dr. Maslow is dedicated to treating her patients with evidenced-based, compassionate and individualized care. When not in the office, she can usually be found with her recently adopted Chihuahua and two rescue bunnies or traveling and hiking with her husband.

Dr. Glenn Cabrera, D.P.M.

Dr. Cabrera is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is on staff at Hackensack Meridian Health/JFK Medical Center and Northwell Health/Staten Island University Hospital.

Dr. Cabrera has been in private practice since 2001. He is trained in diabetic wound care/Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment and is on staff at Hackensack Meridian Health/JFK Wound Care Center. Dr. Cabrera is trained in limb salvage and elective surgical procedures. He has utilized Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) as well as advanced biologic products to aid in tendon healing and complex chronic wounds.

Dr. Cabrera is committed to provide compassionate and exceptional care. He firmly believes the patient should be involved in the treatment plan in order to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Dr. Pooja Shah D.P.M.

Dr. Shah is a native New Yorker from Long Island, NY. She attended New York University graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry and Child Mental Health Studies. She continued her education at New York College of Podiatric Medicine where she earned her Doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine. She completed a three-year residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx where she was trained in elective and non-elective surgeries of the foot and ankle. She was trained and exposed to various subspecialties during her residency and believes she practices podiatric medicine with a more comprehensive approach as a result. Having grown up dancing her whole life, she empathizes with the necessity to live pain free with any foot ailments. She is compassionate towards her patients and recognizes that communication is the most integral part of any patient interaction. In her free time, Dr. Shah enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling and exploring new restaurants.

Dr. Shah is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and Board Certified by American Board of Podiatric Medicine
