While in school, she spent time volunteering at community fairs to raise awareness and provide proper foot care guidance for patients with diabetes. Upon graduation, she completed a three-year surgical residency in Foot & Ankle Trauma/Reconstructive Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, serving as Chief Resident in her third year. Over the course of her residency, Dr. Maslow operated at a level one trauma center and managed inpatient and outpatient care for many patients. She developed knowledge, experience and proficiency in performing forefoot, rearfoot and ankle surgery. She developed clinical skills in podiatric trauma, limb salvage and wound care, sports medicine, pediatrics and general podiatric conditions. She also attended several advanced courses in arthroscopy and surgical fixation techniques. During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in Spring 2020, Dr. Maslow was deployed to treat COVID patients at Montefiore Medical Center alongside residents from across all different specialties. Dr. Maslow is dedicated to treating her patients with evidenced-based, compassionate and individualized care. When not in the office, she can usually be found with her recently adopted Chihuahua and two rescue bunnies or traveling and hiking with her husband.
